COMPETENT APPROACH FOR EDUCATIONAL DISCIPLINE "THEORY AND METHODOLOGY OF PHYSICAL EDUCATION" STRUCTURING AS AN IMPORTANT CONDITION OF QUALITY IMPROVEMENT OF PHYSICAL CULTURE TEACHERS PREPARATION

Abstract
The article presents the specificity of future physical culture teachers` professional training. Questions about competence approach for the structuring of the academic discipline "Theory and Methods of Physical Education"content are considered. The content of professional and general valuable life competences in the process of developing and implementing educational and professional programs in this field is detailed. The expediency of using the content elements and profiles of the updated program is substantiated, which contains: profile A - program purpose; profile B - the specific characteristics of the profession; profile C - opportunities for employment and continuation of studies; profile D - learning style (strategies and methods of teaching and evaluation) profile E - main competencies; profile F - the list of learning outcomes by educational program.
