Recent advances in the examination of B type and C type hepatitis virus
Journal Title: Journal of Analytical Bio-Science - Year 2013, Vol 36, Issue 5
Abstract
The treatment approach for hepatitis B virus and C virus that are considered to be the main causes of chronic hepatitis, cirrhosis, and liver cancer has been developing into the causal virus treatment in addition to the symptomatic treatment. To determine the diagnosis and the treatment effect, it is essential to use a test method that allows grasping the viral state precisely along with a test to assess the hepatic status. Clinical laboratories bear the responsibility for the proactive introduction and spread of such test methods.
