REDEІNDUSTRIALIZATION OF THE DONBAS: AN INDUSTRIAL POLICY TO RESTORE ECONOMIC POTENTIAL

Abstract
The article examines the directions of industrial policy development regarding the processes of redesigning the Donbass and its integration in the development of the Ukrainian economy. The need to develop a national strategy for restoring industrial and infrastructural potentials is proved. The world experience of modernization of economic potential of old industrial regions is considered. The necessity of introduction in the strategy of industrial policy of directions of intensification of innovation development of the industrial sector was noted. The main priorities for improving industrial policy in the context of re-industrializing the Donbas with the goal of ensuring the national interests of Ukraine are proposed.
