Reducing Latency Among Client-Server for Distributed Interactive Applications

Abstract

The interactivity of DIAs is significant for members to have pleasant communication experiences. As a rule, interactivity is considered by the duration from the time when a participant issues an operation to the time when the result of the operation is obtainable to the same participant or other participants. We demote to this length as the interaction time between participants. Network latency is known as a major wall to offer good interactivity in DIAs. It cannot be do away from the interactions in the midst of participants and has a lesser theoretical limit compulsory by the speed of light. In this paper, we focus on reducing network latency for improving interactivity in DIAs. Finally our proposed Greedy and Optimal Algorithms minimizes delay than Greedy Assignment and Distributed-Modify Assignment algorithms.
