Reform of the pension provision: foreign experience and possibilities of use in Ukraine

Abstract
Annotation. The purpose of the article is to research the foreign experience of reforming the pension system and to develop proposals for its adaptation and practical use in Ukraine. Methodology of research. Achievement of the set goal is accomplished with the help of such general scientific and special research methods: systematization, comparison, generalization, synthesis and abstract-logical method. Findings. As a result of the research of pension reform in the countries of the world and assessment of its effectiveness, proposals were made to improve the reform of the pension system in Ukraine. Practical value. The author's proposals on improving pension reform in Ukraine are aimed at ensuring an effective state social policy that will facilitate its adaptation to the social standards of economically developed countries.
