REGARDS SUR L’ENSEIGNEMENT DE LA TRADUCTION PROFESSIONNELLE À L’UNIVERSITÉ

Abstract
Many authors have underlined the necessity of innovation in the field of teaching translation in academic context in order to meet the training needs of future translators. Nevertheless, academic practices have barely evolved. This study aims at presenting some findings concerning teaching professional translation in European universities. Specific focus will be laid on the way translation studies contribute to the didactics of translation and on the improvement of academic practices taking into consideration the need of translation teaching to adapt to the needs of our society.
