Regional Operational Programmes as a source of finance for innovation in the voivodeship

Abstract
The level of innovation is currently the measure of development of a country, a region or a company. To deliberate about innovation, it is necessary to create conditions for its formation and implementation. This is the main task of innovation policy. Such policy is implemented not only at a national level but also at the level of particular voivodeships. The interaction between innovation policy at the regional and national level should be taken into consideration when creating policies in support of innovation. Policy at the regional level should provide conditions for the development of innovation at the level of individual voivodeships. Various programmes and strategies, under which activities for innovation development are funded, are the tools of such policy. Examples of such programs are the Regional Operational Programmes (ROPs) funded by the European Union (EU) Structural Funds. The purpose of this article is to indicate the priorities and financial measures aimed at the development of innovation and entrepreneurship under 16 Operational Programmes implemented in all voivodeships in the years 2007-2013.
