REGIONAL POLICY AND ITS ROLE IN ENSURING THE ECONOMIC SECURITY OF UKRAINE

Abstract
The article considers the peculiarities of the formation of regional policy and its role in ensuring the economic security of Ukraine. The methodological approaches, directions, and tools of state regulation of regional policy as a component of economic security are determined. The main negative consequences and threats to economic security in regions under decentralization are outlined. The interdependent connection between the economic security of the region and the state is shown. The ways of increasing regional economic security are proposed.
