Abstract
Abstract The right choice of competitive strategy is very important in the development of retail business. In this respect, understanding the nature of competition is important. One of the basic tasks of business is to closely monitor competition and develop strategies that can affect the relationship between them. Often, marketing strategies are used in competition with aggressive strategies. A frequently used phrase is derived from a military experience. Companies must consider a variety of factors when formulating their competitive strategies. These include the company’s objectives and resources, managers’ awareness of risks, the market environment, and the company’s position within the market.
