Regulatory and Legal Framework for Transparency and Openness of Public Authorities in Ukraine

Abstract
The article analyzes normative legal acts of the domestic legislation in order to characterize the state of ensuring transparency and openness in the activities of public authorities. Constitutional principles of regulation of transparency and openness of public administration are considered. It has been established that an important problem is the citizens’ confidence in the authorities, the level of awareness and ability of the population to practically realize the constitutional right to information.
