Abstract
T.V. Stroyko. Regulatory policy of the state in the sphere of education: world experience and national aspect. The purpose of the study was to identify the main directions of regulatory policy in the educational sphere of different countries. The type of educational policy of the state is determined by the nature of socio-economic and political relations in society, the quality of elites, the dominant political culture, national educational traditions, etc. The development of a state educational policy is based on a comprehensive analysis aimed at identifying and comparing possible options, identifying priority areas for funding, managing, planning, and monitoring the education system, especially in the information society. State policy in the field of higher education is based on the principles of promoting sustainable development of society through the preparation of a competitive human capital and the creation of conditions for life-long education. The role of the state in this case is realized in three directions, namely as a buyer of educational services, forms an assortment of services, and also, is a guarantor of the quality of educational services (licensing and accreditation). The national educational management structure can be classified according to the following features: current normative legal acts; on the basis of university subordination; on the basis of the authority to carry out the expenditures of the State Budget of Ukraine for state contracts.
