Rehabilitacja po przyszyciu więzadła krzyżowego przedniego metodą Internal Bracing − opis przypadku
Journal Title: Rehabilitacja w Praktyce - Year 2018, Vol 1, Issue 4
Abstract
The rupture of the anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) causes instability of the knee joint, disturbs the biomechanics of the joint and may lead later to the damage of the articular cartilage and to the development of degenerative changes. One of the most modern surgical techniques is ACL repair using the Internal Bracing method. The surgical intervention involves suturing the damaged ligament to the place of its insertion on the femur and strengthening it with a synthetic tape. The aim of the article is to present an exemplary programme of rehabilitation after anterior cruciate ligament repair using the Internal Bracing method.
