RELIABILITY ANALYSIS OF THE SUPPORTING STRUCTURE SUBJECTED TO THE ACTION FORCED VIBRATIONS

Journal Title: Structure and Environment - Year 2015, Vol 0, Issue 3

Abstract

The study concerns the forced vibrations analysis of supporting structure in terms of probabilism. Structural design parameters are defined as the deterministic values and random variables. Random variables are not correlated. The criterion for structural failure is expressed as the limit of functions referring to the ultimate and serviceability limit state. The condition takes into account the material fatigue. The Hasofer-Lind reliability index and the probability of failure was determined. In calculations of reliability methods were used: FORM, SORM, Monte Carlo and Importance Sampling methods. The STAND program is used to present the examples of reliability analysis.
