Abstract
(System theory in the religious communities) The theory of systems is taken from the fi eld of mathematics. The author of this article uses mathematical formula to analize how communication works within the Catholic Church in Hungary as depicted in the use of websites. The author analizes 1273 webpages connected to the church and choses 881 considered representative, which he analizes in detail. The author consideres the church a living system, and thus he applies all the theoretical knowledge to this specifi c fi eld. In the end, after presenting interesting data on the way these webpages are linked to one another, the author tries to formulate some suggestions on how to improve the use of webpages within the church.
