REPRESENTATION OF CLIENT INTEREST BY ADVOCATE IN SUCCESSION CASES: COMPARATIVE ANALYSIS OF THE LEGISLATION OF UKRAINE AND FRANCE

Abstract
The article provides a comparative analysis of material and procedural legislation of Ukraine and France concerning the succession of movable and immovable property and representation of client’s interests in cases related to inheritance. The author investigates the relationship between the concepts of the inheritance, the testator, types of succession, the discovery of the inheritance, the will, heirs, the adoption of inheritance in Ukraine and France. Particular attention is paid to the legal basis for representation of clients interests as an attorney in hereditary affairs. The role of the advocate in representing the client's interests in hereditary affairs is explored.
