Republic of Azerbaijan in the geopolitical triangle: Russia-Iran-Turkey in the first half of the 90's. XX century

Abstract
The article deals with the political situation of the Azerbaijan Republic after the collapse of the USSR and the cessation of the bipolar world structure and the formation of new world order. The interrelations of Azerbaijan with Russia, Iran and Turkey are considered in the first half of the 90s of the XX century. The main directions of the collision of strategic interests in the South Caucasus of the leading states are highlighted: USA-Russia, USA-Iran, Turkey-Russia, Turkey-Iran. Attention is paid to the position of the major powers on the Armenian-Azerbaijani Nagorno-Karabakh conflict and the oil strategy of Azerbaijan.
