In the article was attempted the analysis of problem of forming of pseudomotivation of political conduct of the Ukrainian citizens in the context of democratization of public relations. Pseudomotivation is examined as “disguise” of the real reasons or absence of actual requirement (inwardly realized without a necessity for external encouragement) in political participation which is represented on the inconsistent pattern of political behaviour. In particular, attention is accented on influence of external terms – contradictions and risks of democratization of Ukrainian society, scale of political corruption, pseudoactivity of some political parties and part of public organizations. The disbalance and significant distancing were examined between actual and potential motivation as an internal source of origin of pseudoreasons of political conduct of the Ukrainian citizens.
