National state and prospects for its development against the backdrop of globalization processes

Abstract
The place of national states and their future perspectives appear to be one of the important research subjects of political science in the background of globalization processes. The real essense of globalization process is stated and globalization-national state relations in a modern world are reviewed in the article. The author states that the problem is not in “globalization” phenomenon itself, history witnessed a number of globalization processes. The comparative analysis of globalization processes in the modern world and those in the history is given and the reason why globalization uses liberalism ideology is stated in the article. The author agrees with the conclusion that people should not think of the idea that globalization will add to our life but think of the outcomes of this process and become fully aware of it. The author shows that the attitude of classical liberalism, modern liberalism and neoliberalism to a state is not the same. Moreover, philosophy of liberal democracy researched, relations between democracy and liberalism analyzed in the article. Besides, the author states that national state can not convert to the rudiment of the past and formality with less significance.
