Abstract
This study utilizes CiteSpace software to explore the current status of domestic and international research on life and death education for medical students, and to predict the future trend of development in this field. Through visual analysis of keyword clustering and emergence, it summarizes research hotspots at home and abroad as follows: medical students' sense of value of life and medical ethics education, the application of life and death education in clinical practice, and the implementation path and strategies and methods of life and death education. This research provides a fresh perspective and valuable reference for the development of life and death education in China. In the future, China should focus on interdisciplinary training of life and death education tailored to patient characteristics to enhance end-of-life care ability of medical professionals; employ new technologies such as virtual reality (VR) and augmented reality (AR) to improve educational quality; and place greater emphasis on psychological support and burnout prevention among medical students to cultivate medical professionals with both humanistic care and professional competence.
