RESEARCH INVESTMENT PATTERNS OF INTERNET-PROJECTS IN UKRAINE

Abstract
Introduction. Study of the processes of formation of the new Internet economy and its participation in the formation of venture capital is particularly important. By 2015, the problem has acquired a new meaning as a result of the conversion of the online economy as one of the leading sectors of the real economy of the country, showing annual growth of more than 30%, even during periods of unstable financial situation in Ukraine and in the world. Results. Development of the technology base and business ideas become the basis for the formation of innovative projects that fundamentally transform not only the information space, but also social and economic ties between people and companies. Growth of business activity causes a deficiency of venture capital funds to support new projects and their teams. The article highlights the priority areas for investments of investors, the main characteristics and stages of venture capital investment, but the emphasis on the comparative analysis of two types of participants in the investment market: business angels and venture capital funds. Conclusions. Research investment patterns will inevitably require a detailed analysis of entities operating in the venture capital market. Business angels and venture capital funds are directly involved in shaping business processes of young companies. In fact, they can be called donors to innovative processes, creating the potential of Ukrainian economy. A clear understanding of the characteristics and motives of venture investors, the adaptation of proven Western models of their work to the Ukrainian practice, formalizing the criteria of activity, generalization of existing experience, development directions of development of the innovation and venture ecosystem of the country pose a serious theoretical foundation for a stable and steady development of the venture capital market in Ukraine.
