RESISTANCE POWDER MATERIALS OF COMPOSITION IRON - SELF-FLUXING ALLOYS AT GAS-ABRASIVE WEAR
Journal Title: Проблеми тертя та зношування - Year 2016, Vol 73, Issue
Abstract
Studied gas-abrasive wear resistance in the wear of composite materials with iron and self-fluxing alloys. Materials with a self-fluxing alloy containing 0, 15, 0 and 50% and 98,5-99,0% density was obtained by compression followed by sintering in the presence of a liquid phase. The methodology of the study and a schematic of the test materials in gas-abrasive wear. The effect of the composition, their structure and wear conditions on the resistance. Gas-abrasive flow attack angle was varied from 15 to 90 degrees. It is shown that the wear tracks flow at angles of gas-abrasive effect on the material smaller than 45°–60° mainly occurs due to the impact of cutting the abrasive particles. At large angles of 60 ° material wear occurs due to fatigue and brittle fracture. With a decrease in the angle of attack increases the wear resistance of all compositions. The greatest resistance have the composition with the content of self-fluxing alloys for more than 30%.
