Responsibility for violation in the field of intellectual property rights
Journal Title: Часопис Київського університету права - Year 2018, Vol 1, Issue 3
Abstract
The judicial system in Ukraine and its related legal systems exist to protect the rights, freedoms and legitimate interests of individuals and citizens, legal entities, and the interests of the country by timely, efficient and equitable settlement of legal disputes on the basis of the rule of law. The implementation and protection of intellectual property rights is a priority for many countries in the world. Large number of Ukrainian judicial reforms and changes in legislations shape practices which form a generalized system of approaches to address this category of disputes. These reforms and changes serve as an evidence that Ukraine also has identified the implementation and protection of intellectual property rights as being an important part of legislation.
