Abstract
The article considers the powers of the National police, in accordance with various legislative and regulatory legal acts, the application of preventive measures restricting the movement of persons or vehicles or the actual possession of a thing. The author also pays attention to the study of human rights during the implementation of such preventive activities. Given the research developed ways of improvement of the law of Ukraine «On the National police».
