Results-Based Performance Management System of Secondary Schools in the New Normal Education in Roxas Central District, Department of Education, Division of Palawan

Abstract

This study assessed the extent of implementation of Result-Based Performance Management System in the new normal education in Secondary Schools of Roxas Central District, Department of Education, Division of Palawan. Descriptive correlation design, frequency, mean, and Pearson Product moment correlation coefficient was employed to analyze the data collected. The school heads expressed their assessment of the implementation of Results-Based Performance Management to a very great extent. They showed moderately evident difficulty with the perceived challenges on content, knowledge, and pedagogy. The teachers-respondents have stated their assessment of the implementation of Results-Based Performance Management to a great extent and encountered moderately evident difficulty on the perceived challenges on all five key results in the Results-Based Performance Management. The finding also shows that the performance rating of the school administrators and teachers showed no significant relationship in their assessment of the Extent of Implementation of the Results-Based Performance Management System in the New Normal. Moreover, the results revealed that the performance rating of the school administrators and teachers demonstrated no significant relationship to their challenges encountered in the implementation of the Results-Based Performance Management System in the new normal.
