Abstract
V.V. Burkun. Retrospective analysis of the formation of the national motor transport system of Ukraine. The modern national automobile transport system plays an important role for the country's socio-economic development, since it provides passenger transportation of people and transportation of goods for different distances. The purpose of our study was to conduct a retrospective analysis of the formation of the national motor transport system in Ukraine. The development of the national automobile system began after the collapse of the USSR and the formation of Ukraine as an independent state. As for the carriage of passengers by road, since 2009, the tendency of annual decrease of passenger traffic is obvious. The largest decrease was observed in 2015 compared to the previous year and amounted to -662972,8 thousand passengers, which is explained by the advantages of passenger transportation to other modes of transport, since road transport is considered one of the most dangerous Beginning in 2008, there are obvious positive developments in the safety of road transport, since in the period from 2009 to 2015 there is an annual decrease in road traffic accidents on roads and streets, but in 2016, unfortunately, this trend is interrupted and there is an increase in traffic accidents by 26,782 units . On the territory of Ukraine there is a widespread network of automobile routes connecting settlements. In order to improve the coverage of the roads of Ukraine in the framework of transport system reforms and decentralization of power, it was transferred to regional administrations for servicing roads of local importance. In addition, the responsibility and authority of the regional subsidiaries of the State Joint Stock Company "Motorways of Ukraine", which are engaged in the implementation of work on the elimination of friction and the installation of protective coatings on the roads, are increasing. The strategic directions of automotive development in Ukraine are to maximize the added value of all components of the national transport vehicle chain with the appropriate choice and quality of automotive products. It is necessary to satisfy the needs of the domestic market and the transport industry of the country as a whole by competitive automobile equipment, which meets the international requirements for safety, environmental and economic characteristics.
