Review of the new state building codes and standards for engineering protection of territories, buildings and constructions from dangerous geological processes in complex engineering-geological conditions

Abstract
The article provides an overview of the new state building codes (SBC) and standards (GOST) developed at the State Research Institute of Building Constructions (Kyiv, Ukraine). The norms regulate mandatory requirements to be followed in the design, new construction, maintenance and reconstruction of buildings and structures for various purposes, built or placed at sites where soil foundation is characterized by difficult engineering and geological conditions. Based on the results of recent research in the field of construction the following norms have been proposed: SBC B.1.1 xx: 201H “Engineering protection of territories, buildings and constructions of landslides and avalanches. Basic regulations” «GOST-H-B B.1.1 HHH1: 201H» Guidelines for the design of buildings and structures on soil subsidence «GOST-H-B B.1.1 HHH2: 201H» Guidelines for the design of buildings and structures in mined areas « GOST-H-B B.1.1 HHH3: 201H «Guidelines for the design of buildings and structures on weak soils» GOST-H-B SBC B.1.1 HHH4: 201H «Guidelines for the design of buildings and structures in karst areas,» GOST-H SBC B.1.1-HHH5: 201H «Guidance on the preparation and engineering of soil basements», GOST-N-DBN B.1.1 HHH6: 201H «Guidance on scientific and technical monitoring of buildings and constructions».
