REVIEW ON O.S. Afonina's monographic study "Codes of Culture and Double Coding in Art"

Abstract
The study of O. Afonina's "Codes of Culture and" double coding "in art" reveals the actual problems of contemporary art, since the works of postmodernism are replete with reinterpretation, reinterpretation, replay of classical subjects, musical themes, and known images. Contemporary art has become a kind of "disappointment of the world" (M. Weber) or the decoding of the content of artistic works. The period of the most intense experiments and searches of Western artists in various art forms fell on the XXth century. However, still the mechanisms of "double coding" in art using cultural codes have not been properly studied.
