Abstract
O. Zosim's monograph is a comprehensive and systematic study that considers East-Slavic spiritual and song tradition in the historical dynamics from the XVI to XXI centuries. The author chooses several aspects, the first of which is the structure of books with spiritual songs. The researcher elaborates on the evolution of the Catholic and Protestant cantons and singers of the 15th-20th centuries, indicating the main stages of their structuring.
