Rheological Models of the Materials for the Road System in the Compaction Process
Journal Title: Romanian Journal of Acoustics and Vibration - Year 2014, Vol 11, Issue 2
Abstract
This paper presents a simplified theory of compaction based on idealized rheological models that allow to make preliminary determinations of characteristic parameters which in turn are used to determine other parameters[1]. For the compaction study is considered that the land is semi-infinite, homogeneous and isotropic, and the limit of elasticity is infinitely large [2;3]. Initially must be considered the fundamental mechanical properties of the land: elasticity, viscosity, plasticity.

MODERN METHODS FOR NOISE CONTROL
Noise can be defined as unwanted sound. There are many cases and applications that reducing noise level is of great importance. Loss of hearing is only one of the effects of continuous exposure to excessive noise levels....
The Sound Distribution Uniformity Throughout the Multifunctional Hall „EUTHERPE”
In order to perform a full estimation of acoustic characteristics of public auditoriums there were defined „acoustic criteria” such as reverberation time, clearness index, intelligibility percent, uniformity index etc. T...
The Increase of the Productivity of Work at the Milling Machines by Lifting the Stability Chart and Reducing the Noises
Starting from the simplified block chart of the dynamical system engine – tool – piece – device – instrument it is drawn the stability chart if the milling machine and it is annalysed the causes and the efects of the app...
Transfer Matrix Method Applied in the Study of Vibrations of the Centrifuges with the Basket in the Console
This paper approaches a field of advanced research: the study of vibrations of industrial centrifuges by applying the transfer matrix method. It will be established a study model considering the shaft as continuous mediu...
Dynamic Response of Anchored Tower Cranes under Sinusoidal Damped Seismic Action. Case Study
The subject of the behavior of tower cranes under seismic motion, it is particularly one. On September 2009, in the XXXIII National Conference on Mechanics of Solids - Romania, the authors presented the hypothesis of ana...
