Right to gender identity in European Court of Human Rights practice.

Abstract
The article is devoted to the study of the European Court of Human Rights (further – ECHR, Court) case law in the field of gender identity of a person. The ECHR decisions concerning the problems of the gender reassignment procedure and the legal conditions for such actions, sex marker change in the identification documents are analyzed. The position of the Court concerning transsexual marriage, certain aspects of parental rights, pension rights and social insurance rights are considered.
