The essence of public law and the content of the right of Ukrainian citizens to freedom of movement and free choice of place of residence

Abstract
The article is devoted to the study of the public nature and content of the right of citizens of Ukraine to freedom of movement and free choice of place of residence. The author justifies the idea that the right to freedom of movement and free choice of place of residence has a private-law and public-law nature, while the latter is crucial for the realization of this right, for its guarantee and security. Since the public legal nature of this right is not fully investigated, the author specifies what the public legal component of this right is, how fully it is represented in the legislation of Ukraine, the role and purpose of the state represented by the public administration in ensuring this constitutional right of citizens of Ukraine is determined separately.
