RISK MANAGEMENT IN FUNDING OF AGRICULTURAL PROJECTS

Abstract
Risk is present in all economic activities and the aspects concerning risks have an increased level of complexity. An efficient risk management should be based on understanding the context and the characteristics of the risks. The article is focus on projects that support agricultural activities and aims to identify the main risks in the field and the specifics of risk management. The article includes a literature review on risks and risk management in agriculture, complemented by the results obtained from interviews with specialists involved in financing agricultural projects, aiming to capture the current reality and identify methods for improving risk management.
