Risk's factors to the acute pancreatitis in the ComandantePinares General Hospital

Abstract

Introduction: the sharp pancreatitis at the present time exercises a challenge diagnosis in front of those patients that go to the consultation. Objective: to determine factors of risk associated to the sharp pancreatitis. Materials and methods: Observational study, analytic retrospective of case-controls. ComandantePinares General Hospital, San Cristobal, Artemisa, 2016-2019. Universe: 72 patients. It shows: 36 (cases) and 36 (you control randomized). The variables were: age, sex, previous vesicular litiasis, antecedents of sharp pancreatitis, index of corporal mass and alcoholism. It was calculated the relative opportunity, the attributable risk and the attributable one population. The test square chi of Pearson was applied, with 95% of dependability. Results: feminine patients prevailed (63,9%) between 40 and 60 years (41,7%), with a 50,1±13,6 year-old stocking. The previous vesicular litiasis (25 cases for 34,7% and 12 controls for 16,7%) it was a highly significant factor; the index of corporal mass (20 cases for 27,8% and 9 controls for 12,5%) it was a very significant factor. The pancreatitis antecedent (4 cases for 5,6% and 2 controls for 2,8%) and the alcoholism (10 cases for 13,9% and 7 controls for 9,7%) they were non significant factors of risk. Conclusions: the sharp pancreatitis was more frequent in patient feminine between the fifth and sixth decades of life. The previous existence of vesicular litiasis was a factor of highly significant risk for its appearance and the index of corporal mass was very related with this illness. The antecedent of sharp pancreatitis and the alcoholism were not statistically significant as factors of risk in the present investigation.
