Abstract
The results of researches of modern varieties influence on the ripeness of potato varieties, the terms of seedling and the depth of tubers planting and development of potato plants in the conditions of the Right Bank Forest-steppe of Ukraine are given. It should be noted that medium-early varieties have a higher germination energy compared with the medium-late and middle-ripe varieties, resulting in a slight decrease in the duration of the growing season, but the increase in soil temperature during this period did not significantly affect the leaching of the sprouts. It should be emphasized that in the period of complete sprouts-budding, a direct connection between the phase period and the soil temperature is manifested. The elevated temperatures delay the development of plants, and the duration of the period is full of sprouts-budding continues. The following interphase periods with a temperature increase are somewhat reduced, so the total period from planting to the end of the vegetation will be continued, depending on the temperature of the soil. This pattern is observed for all for the variability of varieties.
