Abstract
Z.V. Kolos. The role of agricultural enterprise in the development of rural territories. The development of a market economy in the agrarian sector is impossible without the development of entrepreneurial activity, which determines the acceleration of socio-economic processes at the macro and micro levels. The article investigates the factors of influencing on the development of entrepreneurship in the agrarian sector; the directions of activization of entrepreneurship in agriculture and its role in the development of rural areas are determined. The improvement of the social and economic situation in the countryside requires, first, the implementation of complex transformations in the country's agrarian sector and measures for the preparation of agricultural business structures for activities in the conditions of the full functioning of the land market. With the proper state and legislative support, agricultural enterprises are able to play a significant role in achieving the strategic goal of state agricultural policy ˗ rural development and addressing economic, social and environmental problems in rural areas. Conducted research gives the reason to assert that agricultural entrepreneurship is the basis for the development of rural areas and the welfare of the rural population. Agricultural enterprises play an important role in the development of rural areas, in particular through the formation of revenue part of local budgets, the expansion of employment of rural population and increase of their incomes, increase of level of infrastructure of agrarian production, realization of projects of territorial development. Further activation of the processes of entrepreneurial activity in the countryside depends on the effectiveness of the state policy system, which should include the promotion of the development of new business structures (the transformation of small household into big family farms), agricultural service cooperatives, rural livelihood systems, entrepreneurship systems, direct financial support of producer’s agricultural products.
