ROLE OF CONVICTED PERSON AS A VICTIM IN THE PENITENTIARY FACILITIES

Abstract
The article describes the role of convicted person as a victim in the penitentiary facilities. The author defines the current state and trends of criminal offenses against convicted people in penitentiary facilities and the main sources of such attacks. The behavior of convicted people belonging to risk groups is described in this article and the necessity of introduction of amendments and additions to the Correctional Code of Ukraine and other normative legal acts concerning the improvement of the legal mechanism of providing personal security of convicted people is substantiated.
