Abstract
The article deals with the issues related to a police negotiation system. In particular, it focuses on the specificity of negotiations in situations connected with organized crime. It describes the essential rules as well as the history and organization of the police negotiation system in Poland. In the article the author presents the classification of nego-tiation situations relating to the activity of organized criminal groups.
