Abstract
This article deals with implementation of some innovations at teaching aviation English, in particular, role play and scenario-based training methods. The authors analyze the main points of these methods and give the principle approaches to their selection. In the article the authors lay the stress on these methods efficiency in professional and personal development of future pilot in flight school and his attitudinal direction at creative self-realization in professional activity. The concept of role play and scenario lies in independent foreign language activity of the students in the artificially created professional environment. One of the main tasks of the teacher is an involvement of the students in analysis, discussion and problem solution. Such educational environment where we have teaching aviation English as uninterrupted simulation of activity and communication in the audience help to develop critical thinking to deal with aircraft incidents and accidents.
