Rozpoznanie ostrego zespołu wieńcowego. Analiza wyjazdów zespołów ratownictwa medycznego
Journal Title: Na Ratunek - Year 2017, Vol 1, Issue 3
Abstract
The main aim of the paper is to present all Acute Coronary Syndromes (ACS), including the reasons for calling an ambulance, a real number of heart attacks in relation to the whole number of calls concerning chest pains, and other final diagnoses. Another aim is to show problems facing medical dispatchers while differentiating life-threatening situations, for example, between ACS and those not requiring the dispatching of an emergency ambulance, when a patient can be referred to a general practitioner or hospital. Moreover, procedures undertaken by Emergency Medical Services in the case of ACS are presented.
