Abstract
We współczesnym świecie dla wielu kobiet praca zawodowa i aktywny rozwój, podnoszenie kwalifikacji i kompetencji stanowią wielkie wyzwanie i nieodzowny element życia. Kobiety poprzez swoją własną determinację i niezwykłą organizację czasu potrafią harmonijnie godzić życie rodzinne z aktywnością zawodową. Celem opracowania jest prezentacja istoty i przebiegu kariery zawodowej kobiet w ujęciu teoretycznym i empirycznym. Badany przebieg kariery zawodowej uwzględnia również bariery i ograniczenia występujące w procesie rozwoju kariery zawodowej kobiet.
