Russian-Azerbaijan literary relations and Azerbaijan folklore at the end of the 19th century – the beginning of the 20th century

Abstract
In the article the political position of Azerbaijan at the end of the 19th century – the beginning of the 20th century and the culture, especially the development ways of folklore in this direction have been determined. In Russian-Azerbaijan literary relations the collecting, translation and publication problems have been investigated, organization of the translation work on the base of the general principles has been studied. It was determined that in the 19th century not only in Russian, also in neighborhood in Georgia Azerbaijan tales were collected and being translated into the Georgian language they were published. The activity of Russian language press in Georgia, in Tbilisi gave ground the formation of Azerbaijan – Georgian literary relations. In all cases the end of the 19th century and the beginning of the 20th century Azerbaijan folklore, especially formation of collecting, translation and publication of the tales in a new level reflects the historical essence of formation and development of Russian-Azerbaijan-Georgian literary relations.
