S. PILIPENKO'S PLACE IN THE NATIVE GENERAL CULTURAL SCOPE OF THE 20TH CENTURY

Abstract
There is studied the role of S. Pilipenko in the national literary process of the twentieth century. There is determined a significant contribution of the master to the literary polemics of that time. There are identified the main author’s aesthetic concepts relative to the prospects for the development of the native literary discourse. The dominant features of the writer's creative writing in different genre forms are defined. There are highlighted the prospects of an analytical assessment of S. Pilipenko's creative work.
