SALGIN HASTALIKLAR VE TURİZM: SAĞLIK TURİZMİNE YÖNELİK BİR DERLEME

Abstract
In this study, it is aimed to evaluate the effects of diseases that are seen as epidemics around the world on the tourism sector within the framework of health tourism. In this context, by literature review was in the study studies related to the subject were compiled and interpreted. It has been tried to obtain inferences about the relationship between epidemic diseases and health tourism through detailed examination of documents such as articles, theses, papers, news archives published in the relevant field and the statistical data of related official institutions. As a result of the study, it has been determined that the studies examining the relationship of epidemic diseases with health tourism are limited compared to studies examining the relationship of epidemics with tourism, epidemic diseases cause travel restrictions and affect tourist preferences with travel mobility, it has been determined that countries that can successfully overcome the epidemic periods can gain a competitive advantage in health tourism in the future by increasing their reputation in health services.
