Satınalma Yönetiminde İşletme Tedarikçi İlişkilerinin Tekrar Satın Almadaki Rolü: İmalat Sanayiinde Nitel Bir Çalışma

Abstract

In today's competitive markets, businesses are trying to maintain their existence, to maintain production sustainability and to increase their financial performance by producing efficiently, effectively and at low costs. During this process, the importance of the relations of the enterprises with their suppliers is increasing, and many important factors play a role in the realization of the goods and services purchased for the production of the final product with existing or new suppliers. It is understood that the relations of the business with the suppliers and the personnel in the supplier businesses may have an impact on the intention to repurchase again. The aim of the research is to determine whether the effect of transactions and relationships between business-suppliers on repurchasing behavior makes a difference in companies of different sizes. The data of the research were collected by conducting semi-structured interviews with the relevant managers of large enterprise manufacturing enterprises operating in Eskişehir Organized Industrial Zone. Data was analyzed with NVivo software. Research findings reveal that the size of the firm and the operating situation in domestic and foreign markets differentiate the approach to repurchasing. However, it has been understood that there are many factors that cause businesses to prefer suppliers by some common factors in supplier preference. It has been found that the tendency of the enterprises to gravitate towards suppliers increases according to the excess number of suppliers they work with and the importance of the products supplied has an effect on the continuation of the intention repurchase from the same supplier.
