Abstract
Oscar Luis Amoedo Valdéz fue un médico y odontólogo de gran prestigio internacional, el precursor y fundador de la OdontologÃa Legal. Con el objetivo de caracterizar sus aportes a la OdontologÃa Forense que lo hacen acreedor de ser nombrado el Padre de esta rama, se realizó una revisión bibliográfica donde fueron consultados 10 artÃculos históricos utilizando libros, artÃculos en soporte digital, el buscador Google académico y otras bases de datos como Scielo, Medline y PubMed. Se concluyó que de sus obras, la que marcó el comienzo de la OdontologÃa Legal, es âEl Arte Dentario en Medicina Legalâ.
