SEISMIC ACTIVATION CONDITIONS OCCURRENCE RESEARCH AT POLYSAIEVSKAIA MINE OF AO “SUEK- KUZBASS
Journal Title: Вестник научного центра по безопасности работ в угольной промышленности - Year 2016, Vol 4, Issue
Abstract
On AO "SUEK-Kuzbass" company"Polysaevskaya" mine example a comprehensive analysis of natural and anthropogenic factors in uencing the development of seismic processes was made. It is shown that to the main factors influencing seismic activation during mining works can be attributed the following: mining work depth increase up to 400 – 500 m and coal seam taking speed increase; major tectonic faults and active geological faults of lower order located near areas of seismic activation, proximity to the end of disjunctive fault; flooded worked out areas; thick layers of hard sandstone in the main roof, capable of elastic energy accumulation; the presence of sharp main roof thickness change areas. Analyses of seismic processes effect on safe mining operations is fulfilled.
