Selecting lexical items to teach specialists in hospitality and tourism a foreign language for professional purposes

Abstract
The article addresses the problem of selecting the word bank as a component of the syllabus aimed at training specialists in tourism industry. As a result of the completion of the content analysis of the authentic job-related texts, a set of most common lexical items to denote the basics of tourism is selected.
