SEMANTIC AND FUNCTIONAL PECULIARITIES OF THE NOUN DIMINUTIVES IN UKRAINIAN AND LATIN LANGUAGES

Abstract
The article is devoted to the research of Noun diminutivization in Ukrainian and Latin languages. Lexical-semantic groups of the most common Noun Diminutives are obtained. Semantics and functions of diminutivized Nouns are analyzed. Comparative analysis of functions and semantics of Noun diminutives is done. General and peculiar for each language features of Noun diminutivization are highlighted.
