Abstract
Türkçede Göstergebilim diye tek sözcükle karşılanan kavram Fransızca ve İngilizcede iki sözcükle karşılanmaktadır: Semiyoloji ve Semiyotik (Fr. Sémiologie; Sémiotique / İng. Semiology; Semiotics). Semiyoloji ve Semiyotik aynı şeyler midir, farklı şeyler mi? Biz bu kavramların eş anlamlı değil; olsa olsa yakın anlamlı olabileceklerini düşünüyoruz. Bu makalede bu kavramlar ve bu kavramlara ilişkin görüşler irdelenecektir.
