Abstract
Neutrino oscillation occurs if neutrinos have masses and if they mix among each other. this phenomenon would be in close analogy to the experimentally observed mixing in quark sector. Neutrino oscillations are therefore very interesting in the context of elementary particle physics. Neutrino oscillation in matter is probably the reason for the observed deficit of solar neutrino flux .the search for neutrino oscillation is the only way to investigate even for very small difference of neutrino masses. the evidence of small but non vanishing neutrino masses represent one of the few clear indications of the physics beyond standard model. the findings of nonzero neutrino masses by Super-kamiokande in 1998 triggered a huge interest of experimentalists in neutrino physics. In the present article after discussing the theoretical background concerning massive neutrinos and their status in standard model, latest important long baseline experiments dealing with neutrino oscillations have been discussed. It has been tried to show the important link between the physics behind neutrino oscillation and the software used (GloBES).

Radon Exhalation from Industrial Residues as Suitable Additives for Building Materials
Radon exhalation from phosphogypsum (PG) and red mud (RM) samples are of environmental concern. The study is oriented to evaluate by different nuclear techniques, industrial materials cumulated in sites at Morón (PG) and...
PADC Detected External Neutron Field by Nuclear Tracks at RFX-mod
Measured neutron signals relevant for plasma diagnostics on Reversed Field pinch eXperiment, RFX-mod, are obtained by nuclear track methodology with PADC-NtD’s. this technique provides the external neutron field values a...
Analysis of the Energy Deposit in the Air by Radiation of Alpha Particles Emitted by the Water of a Spring Through the Geant4 Software
This work presents the development of an analysis of the potential radiological risk generated by alpha particles emitted by radon-222, content in a spring water, for the population that usually swims in the place and fo...
Semi Empirical Formula For Neutrinoless Double Beta Decay
A Semi empirical formula for both phase space factor and Nuclear Matrix Element (NME) is developed for neutrinoless double beta decay, and the formula is used to compute the neutrinoless double beta decay half lives. The...
Beam Behaviour and Magnetic Field of K500 SCC
The extraction of the beam from the k500 Superconducting Cyclotron in kolkata is posing a great challenge. After getting the internal beam, lots of effort were made to extract the beam and thereafter various experiments...
